Introduction
Amjad Islam Amjad is a famous poet, writer and columnist of Pakistan. He was conceived in the Punjab, Lahore in British India, now in Pakistan. His family initially fit in with Sialkot. He got his optional training in Lahore, and moved on from Government Islamia College Civil Lines, Lahore. He fit the bill for Masters of Arts degree in Urdu writing from Punjab University. He started his profession as a teacher in Govt. M.A.O College Lahore. He filled in as a chief at Pakistan Television Corporation from 1975 to 1979, preceding coming back to teaching.
In 1989, Amjad was designated as Director General of Urdu Science Board. He has additionally filled in as an undertaking executive of the Children Library Complex. Amjad is the author of numerous show arrangement for Pakistan Television Corporation including Waris. He has composed numerous sections, interpretation, feedback and articles while his principle center remained composing Nazms, a sort of Urdu verse. Among his most eminent shows are Waris, Dehleez, Samandar, Raat, Waqt and Apnay Loug.
In June 2008, he joined Urdu daily paper Daily Express and composes section with the title of "Chasham-e-Tamasha".
